Saw your ad for the USB MD Alert Bracelet. What a great idea I thought. Then it dawned on me - what do EMS /ERs have to have to retrieve the data ? What software is required ? I called our local ER as it is very modern and equipped with practically everything. They had no idea what I was talking about. They were intrigued. Also thought it was a great idea and asked me to get more iformation and call them back so they can
investigate if they need new equipment or software.
So at this point it seems the cart is in front of the horse. What good is all that info on the bracelet if EMS and ER personnel have no idea what to do with it ??
Good question, I would assume the files are in pdf format and any computer could open the files, usb acts like a regular drive on your computer when you plug it in you can view it from going to my computer.
That is only my guess though so I put your question to the Amazon seller who offers this product - DB ROTH

I will post their reply when it comes.
reply from the company...
Hello,
I wanted to follow up with you regarding the MD Alert Bracelet.
The development team in FL worked in conjunction w/ EMT’s and hospitals.
It works on PC’s (not mac’s) – no special software is needed to access it.
The USB contains the program which launches automatically. Detail instructions come with this item.
Best Regards,
Toby

Is it safe to ware the USB bracelet in the water, IE swimming or in the shower?
I would recommend getting a waterproof wrist pouch --- I found one and you can follow this link to get it http://www.amazon.com/gp/search/ref=as_li_qf_sp_sr_tl?ie=UTF8&keywords=B000BL5VB6&tag=legitwah-20
